Why we built Storave
The story behind Jaga Raya Internusa's decision to build Indonesia's first baggage storage marketplace.
Every traveler has lived it: check-out is at noon, the flight leaves at nine in the evening, and the nine hours in between are spent dragging a suitcase around.
A problem nobody treated as one
In Indonesia, baggage storage has mostly existed at major train stations and a handful of airports. Everywhere else, travelers rely on the goodwill of a hotel receptionist. No clear price, no guarantee, no certainty the bag will be safe.
Meanwhile, the spare space is everywhere. Cafés have an unused corner. Shops have a small back room. Guesthouses have lockers sitting empty all afternoon.
Connecting the two sides
Storave brings them together. Travelers get vetted storage with transparent pricing from Rp 15,000 per day, insurance up to Rp 1,000,000, and a drop-off that takes a single QR scan.
Partners earn from space that previously produced nothing, without handling payments or insurance themselves.
What we're building next
Today the network runs in Kabupaten Sleman and Kota Malang, and it keeps growing. The goal is simple: whichever city you land in, there is a Storave point within walking distance.
