Storave expands its baggage storage partner network to Kota Malang

Malang, 11 July 2026. Storave has announced the expansion of its partner network to Kota Malang, starting in the Klojen area. Malang is the second city Storave serves, after Kabupaten Sleman in DI Yogyakarta.

Travelers in Malang can now leave suitcases and other bags at vetted cafés, shops, and guesthouses from Rp 15,000 per day, with insurance up to Rp 1,000,000 per bag.

Why Klojen first

Klojen is the centre of Malang: the district where Malang Station, the town square, and most of the city's lodging sit within walking distance of each other. Traveler traffic there runs heavy all day, especially on weekends and during school holidays.

The pattern matches what the company found in Sleman: guests who check out at midday but do not leave until night, and visitors who arrive early in the morning before their room is ready. Those are the hours when luggage turns into a burden.

"Travelers don't stop exploring just because they're carrying a suitcase. They just need somewhere to put it down for a while," a PT JAGA RAYA INTERNUSA representative said.

Partners in Malang

Storave's partners in Malang include cafés, shops, and guesthouses that have passed the company's vetting process, covering business identity checks and the suitability of the storage space.

For business owners, the terms are simple:

Storing a bag in Malang

Users can download the Storave app from the Google Play Store, pick the nearest storage point on the map, and book straight from the app. Bags are logged with a QR scan at drop-off and can only be retrieved with the same code.
