Jaga Raya Internusa launches Storave, Indonesia's first baggage storage marketplace

Yogyakarta, 12 July 2026. PT JAGA RAYA INTERNUSA today announced the launch of Storave, Indonesia's first baggage storage marketplace. Through Storave, travelers can leave suitcases, backpacks, and other bags with vetted local partners such as cafés, shops, and guesthouses, starting at Rp 15,000 per day.

The service is live in Kabupaten Sleman, DI Yogyakarta, and Kota Malang, East Java. Every stored bag is insured up to Rp 1,000,000 at no extra cost.

The problem it solves

Hotels check guests out at noon, but trains and flights often leave late at night. In the hours between, travelers end up dragging a suitcase everywhere they go, or skipping the rest of the trip altogether.

Baggage lockers in Indonesia are still limited to a handful of major stations and airports, and they fill up quickly in high season. Meanwhile, thousands of cafés and shops around tourist areas have spare room sitting idle all day.

"Spare space is everywhere, and so are travelers who need somewhere to leave their bags. Storave connects the two," a PT JAGA RAYA INTERNUSA representative said.

How Storave works

The whole flow is designed to take minutes:

1. Find a location. Users open the map in the app and pick the nearest storage point, with opening hours and reviews shown up front.
2. Book and pay. Pricing is per day, from Rp 15,000 per bag. No account is required, and payment goes through QRIS, virtual accounts, or e-wallets.
3. Scan a QR code at drop-off. The bag is formally logged the moment the partner scans the code, and insurance applies from that second.
4. Pick up any time. Collection is verified with the same QR code, so only the owner can retrieve the bag.

Every partner is vetted before joining, including checks on business identity and the suitability of the storage space.

Two apps, two sides of the network

Storave ships as two separate apps:

• Storave: the app for people storing bags, free on the Google Play Store.
• Storave Mitra: the app for business owners renting out their spare space. Partners accept bookings, scan QR codes, and track earnings in one place.

Business owners can sign up at partner.storave.com. Partner earnings are paid out automatically every month, with no joining fee.

What comes next

Sleman and Malang were the first two cities because they share a profile: tourist hubs with heavy daily traveler traffic and a dense ecosystem of local businesses. The company plans to expand the network to other Indonesian destinations in stages.
